Fulgurites

I recently had some Fulgurites come to me. They are really high energy, exciting stones . I have not really had a lot of time to work with them yet. I'm pretty sure that the standard uses /purposes given which are below do not cover the totality. I'm looking forward to working with them.These join the holey stones that also recently came to me These are both unique kinds of stones created or shaped by forces of nature Water in the case of the holey stones, though some are also carved by clams and lightning forms fulgurites. So both of these are associated more with shamanic type practices than with conventional crystal healing methods. below are the crystal healing properties attributed to Fulgurites from three different sources

Fulgurites are natural glass, usually tubular, formed by lightning strikes in sand or rock. Fulgurites are high energy formations do to the nature of their birth. They are particularly noted for their ability to channel and direct energy. Fulgurites have been used to communicate with aliens and entities, or ascended beings in the spirit world. They are often used for clairaudience. Fulgurites are also used to enhance communication in the physical world, and are used as stones of leadership. Fulgurites are used by Native Americans to bring rain (cloud-busting), and as charms for protection from lightning. Weather-changing of any sort is not recommended, however, unless, as with the Native Americans, one have an exceptionally good sense of the balance of Nature. Physically, fulgurites are used in crystal healing and folklore in treatment of the immune system, ear, nose, and throat ailments, sight, thymus, tumors, growths, and colon.

Prayer enhancement, Shamanic powers Fulgurite is a highly unusual tubular object formed when lightning strikes sand or other silica-rich earth. These objects are most often found on beaches and deserts.

Often, prayers and intentions are blown through the hole in the tube. They are said to be the most powerful representatives of the Storm element, facilitating transformation on all levels.**

Fulgurite (derived from the Latin root word "fulgur", meaning lightning) is formed by blossoming of electricity and silica when a thunder bolt of lightning strikes a dune of sand and such creates glassy crystal formations. This happens at really extreme temperatures which causes moisture to vaporize, and the remaining molten material fuses into a tube-like structure. Reestablishes power of life forces. It has aphrodisiatic qualities. It shall strengthen connections with other worlds. Also used for communication on all levels. Also used for divination. Very unusual and fun! This is a fun one to get children interested in the natural and supernatural worlds! NEAT!

so does anyone have experience with fulgurite

I have a fulgurite that is more "white" with little specks of dark black in it. I have had it for a bit but have not worked with it in quite some time. I would think that the differing colors would give it a bit different energy also, but with the same "basic" properties.

I have to say that it really does help with one's energy level.

I also found that it enhanced my dreams. Sometimes it provided a bit more clairty to what I was "seeing" in the dream. Other times it just helped with recall of more than say one or two dreams a night. Sometimes my dreams were more chaotic. And sometimes I could find the common thread among them all in a night and know that what was shown was very important for me.

I have also used it to channel healing energies and oft times it reminds me to BE the channel for the healing energy, and let it flow through me as it was meant to do. It also reminds me that healing energy does not always need to be focused on any specific issue, just channeled and it goes where it is meant to. Although sometimes the energy from the fulgurite is too much for the person receiving the healing energy.

It is very transformative in nature and not something to use if you really don't want to change. If you fight change it becomes so much harder and more chaotic, at least that is what I found out. ;)

I also found that the white fulgurite that I had helped with communication and purification/cleansing.

I also found that this particular one helped with aligning the chakras. It also helped to "funnel" energy to specific chakras/areas that needed blocks removed.

Kids love fulgurite! First they think it is a really "neat" or "cool" stone because of how it was formed. It shows the power of lightning and holds a bit of science and "magic" for them. My daughter, who is only 6, said, "Mommy, this makes me wanna dance and jump and play." So at least for her it brought happiness and joy that could just not be contained.

Maybe the lesson is to just BE and let all Flow to, through, and from you. To just BE and experience and enjoy just being you. At least that is what I have gotten from it so far.
